Grinna 2 Posted February 8, 2010 Share Posted February 8, 2010 The official America's Cup webpage has a background pic of the USA tri on one side and the Alinghi cat on the other side of the page and across the top they have slogans appear. Slogans like "Face Off" "Time's up" and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". But there's one slogan that made me sit up a bit. It says "Catch Me If You Can" and the composite photo as the background makes it look like the Alinghi cat is pissing all over the BMW Oracle tri. Is this some kind of psychological mind f*ck or is it what the organisers expect to happen, or is it just Ernie Berty having a wee poke at Larry (again)? Interesting. Just had more of a play and noticed that occasionally the pic shows the tri miles ahead of the cat. Maybe they're all expecting it to be a huge mismatch one way or another.
