A Person from our Ferrocement Facebook page is involved in a "small" (said very much tongue in cheek) project in San Fran. It is a Ferrocement Brigantine called Sultana.
An epic project. Take a dive into their Facebook page and look at some of the hundreds of pics of the project. https://m.facebook.c...hc_location=ufi

There are lots of Pics and it is hard to choose which ones to post. It looks like a huge project because much of the Timber on the vessel is stuffed. One shot shows a guy up in the rigging. If the timber is so bad, he's a game lad to be in that rope work. There must be a few Km's worth of rope.
The Boat weighs 44Ton.
I will start with this "thing". I asked him what it was made from and apparently it is solid timber made in Indonesia.

As I said, the Timber is all shot on the thing. This the old Rudder which shows the damage and a shot of the new rudder being made.
