Megwyn 2
Is Whangamata becoming the new Multihull vortex. I know it has a long way to go to beat Ostend, but . . . Last year, when we stopped over at Whangamata on our way home, we saw Twisted Sisters in a sad state in the Whanga Harbour. This year, on our way home from the New Years Multi get together at the Cove GMI, we saw her still there. The hole in her stern has now been patched with duct tape. She has no outboard, no sails, no centre boards, no rudder, but she does have a decent mussel farm on her. Does anyone know what is going on with her? She was for sale a few years ago, and has been moored at Whanga for many many years. Sad to see her looking so derelict.

Kiwifish 30
I moved my GBE to whangamata yesterday and saw twisted sisters. It made me curious, I knew it was a Tennant design but didn’t know the model. Sadly it’s still in poor condition, it didn’t seem to have much of a mussel farm but instead the owner has diversified into lichen farming. The whole things covered in it. It looks like an awesome boat, shame it’s being left to die.
Deep Purple 511
Turissimo 9 converged to 10 with stern scoops converted to cruiser with accomodation pods
ScottiE 174
That's a shame - she's a great boat and Pete did an awesome job. She's sailed to the islands twice and been round Aussie
