Had a fantastic weekend, good sailing, good fishing, lots of weird and wonderful boats to look at. Loved the big band Sat night.

Two figures sat side by side, staring at the Sea. One said to the other, “You know that one day we will die.” And the other friend replied, “But all of the other days WE WILL LIVE!”

Fun weekend as usual. Not nearly as many spectator boats as the last few years, not as many yacht clubs making it a destination I suppose. Or the light weather forecast meant people stuck closer to Auckland perhaps.

Saw a few Crew faces at the Tall Ships in Russell another Glamour BOI day with the traditional Hangi and Dance after, it really is a day to be there even if you dont enter.
