Thom 0
I'm posting the following on behalf of my friend Dave, as his account won't let him post anything. His username is daveandthesea Hey everyone I'm keen to crew on a yacht sailing from NZ to Tonga/Fiji, or in that general direction anytime after the 20th of June. I've done a bunch of coastal sailing around the Marlborough Sounds as an Outward Bound instructor, and I've done a bit of off shore sailing, but no big ocean crossings yet. Bloody handy with a spanner, I can sort out most things mechanical. I'm good for a laugh, good company, and I'm not always in your face. I'm not too shabby on the guitar, and I can slap up a decent feed. Please get in touch if you have any questions or any spare room on your boat! Please reply to daveandthesea on this forum or daveandthesea@gmail.com or +64226824920
Black Panther 1,584
What about a trip back around November?
Island Time 1,235
Thom, your mate is not a validated user. He must reply to the validation email the system sent him, to complete the membership process. If there is a problem with that, he can contact me at editor@crew.org.nz or 0221539176 and I can sort it out. Matt

Black Panther 1,584
Just wondering. I'll be bringing her back sometime in Nov. Could either pick up one or two bodies or do it solo. Solo would then cover my qualifying cruise should I decide to do the trans Tasman. Should I do the Trans Tasman? I've really got to the point where racing is of very little interest, but that one is a bit of unfinished business, but it is stupid expensive, but if I haven't left for good before then it gives me a really good kick in the pants to get going. Undecided. If Matt can't make the trip up in Sept (his daughter has decided to get married right when I want him) I may be one short for the trip north.
AJ Oliver 154
You could turn it into a combined sail passage and peace studies course . .
Black Panther 1,584
That's true of most long trips I do. I always aim to make them peaceful? I have been keeping an eye on Oceanswatch, I could get into that sort of thing if I believed they were doing some good. http://www.oceanswatch.org/#!what-we-do/c21kz
