And an additional note: Walking along the promenade to Buoy today for lunch, I spotted a sloop on O Dock with a partly deflated dinghy trailing off the stern bearing what looked suspiciously like tooth marks. Hadn't noticed it before. Two in three days?

Rumour is about 30 dinghies now. Many fenders on my marina pier punctured and a lot of the vinyl foam buffer pads missing foam with foam blocks floating around.

Thanks for that, I thought it was just an inflatable fetish he had.

Oh hell no. Someone showed me a vid only last week of it playing with then tearing apart one of the 1500mm foam dock fenders it had ripped off the finger.

Over 30 boats by now. I know one or 2 repair guys sent the blubber a Xmas card :)

New dinghy assembled and hoisted on the stern, with luck high enough to be not attractive to large aquatic mammals. Sailing this weekend. Yay!

Kudos to Aaron of Mariner Marine Insurance, who made it happen n a timely fashion, even up to delivering the new boat to my dock. Thanks Aaron.
