So who's in and who's gonna win?

Anyone having their Nats as part of the regatta?

Anyone doing the passage races?

The 8.5's are calling it a nationals, with 2 boats back on the water that haven't been seen much for the last couple of years, and the regular visitor from Tauranga

Unfortunately a couple of regulars are MIA due to babies, weddings etc - I think they need to get their priorities sorted out ;)

Be interesting to see how raucous the beach party gets on Saturday night, and how many boats are still there Sunday morning!

Since wages is plural that should be the wages of sin ARE death.

grammarphobe have your answer - in ancient usage "wages" could be singular

The Oxford English Dictionary has published references from the late 1300s to the 1700s of the plural noun (wages) construed as singular.

...the 1395 revision of the Wycliffe Bible of 1382:

The wagis of synne is deth.”

for lexicologists

the above link

also links, wage = pledge = gage - mortgage = death pledge

Can anyone tell me what has happened to the SL33 Fleet? 3 of them built at great fanfare and expense and now the GC32 has no one to play with?

Foiled has new foils and will be back into it soon

Excess is for sale

Stratis not sure, didn't have a rig in the last time I looked and Moose is likely a little busy as Doyles CEO now

... and Charleston still has a rig in two pieces unfortunatly
