Can anyone tell me what has happened to the SL33 Fleet? 3 of them built at great fanfare and expense and now the GC32 has no one to play with?

Thats okay, Frank Racing GC32 is in the IRC division. I wonder what it rates

Great day out - silly me - thought the regatta started yesterday.

The 50s look fantastic at the top mark - just wish the rest of the city could see it.

f%^kin exhausted

ready for bed

learned a whole lot more

about a different type of boat

who knew a sym spin needed poles an 2 people to man-handle them to the the mast each gybe

what's with that?

just go faster, put it on the end of a big prod

fly it round the outside

...

highlight was watching the big boats send it through the sportsboat fleet on the way to okahu

with the 'deeds" in hot pursuit

oblivious

to the carnage they left in their wake...

Our course had a direct line through the Sports boat course.
A downwind one at that -  the only choice would have been to drop the kite and reach away from our mark or avoid the sports boats.
When we came through a squal had just hit and most sports boats had capsized and we picked an easy way through! :-)

Why were you using an asymmetric in windward/leewards let alone from a pole?
