Bottom cleaning divers

Recommended Posts

This came up a while back but I can't find the thread. Anyone know a diver around whangaparaoa? Turns out gh won't haul you if your bottom is dirty????

I'd have thought that was usually the reason to haul

Slowly the screw turns......

Plus I'm in a river full of fan worm. Much better to scape them off on an outgoing tide right?

What are you talking about BP? There isn't any fan worm in the river at all. You are mistaken. When was the last time you had your eyes checked? And do you have the correct certification from the Ministry of International Waterborne Foreign Pest Identifation Board, as per ISO 991167.5?

I think it is quite reckless that unqualified and uncertified people go around making such flippant statements, especially when I want to take my boat out sailing from said river without beuracratic interference.

Good grief man, next you will be applying logic to something. You can't go around making unfounded and rash statements on Internet forums, you might attract the attention of Regional Council Officers.

Nothing to see here, move along, and please stop looking down into the water when transiting the river in your dinghy.

BP have they told you that? i.e. have you just heard from someone 2nd hand or did you see their lips move..

If it is the latter -  anybody want to buy a Townson 36?** Never been rallied, raced or rolled ...

I'm almost done with this kind of crap.

** semi joking, but if the offer is right I'll consider it

Yup and I guarantee that my boat will be inspected as soon as I get back due someone reporting I went sailing in your infested harbour. To be fair though, I used to clean boats in westhaven 25-30 years ago and I'm sure that it was NEVER that clean!

Go go fan worm, might filter out the forest/sewage outflow/liveaboard poo!
