Jon 360 Posted May 31, 2017 Share Posted May 31, 2017 Sorry Myjane, just a windup, but your the first to bite, as floor boards need to be fix down they will only float with the yacht. The issue they had was with a seal at the top of the rudder stock not being properly installed when the bearing where replaced, they only found out once they got out into a 4m following sea and 40kts So they decided to come back and get it fixed properly as they were off for 5 months mostly to Tonga where hauling out isn't an option, turned out the guy in Opua could replace it with the boat still in the water but I guess they didn't what the stress of being away and knowing it wasn't right.
