JJHG 0
Could anyone recommend someone who can splice some ropes for me? Very straightforward work. Thanks in advance.

JJHG 0
That looks very much like a arbourist rope or maybe a climbing one, so be very careful who you get to splice it. I'm picking that to have a parallel core so many who do yacht ropes won't know how to do it without potentially large strength loss. If it's arbourist it'll need a 'The Bob' Splice, as we nick named it as 1/2 way thru it looks like Bob Marleys hair exploded But testing of them by Samson in the US shows minimal strength loss which is the target. 2 Auckland names for you. Chains Ropes and Anchors on the Shore can do it. Tree Tools in the city, Mt Albert maybe, should be able to. Then you're heading out of the city. No point asking me more now. I have a breakfast date in Ulaanbaatar tomorrow. Thanks so much. Perfect.
