Black Panther 1,584
Daughter's has stopped working. New batteries. Plenty of water pressure. What else can she test before forking out for a new one?
S.M.U. 15
First use energiser batteries if D cell rest are crap. Otherwise Whip off cover and clean round micro switch ( you will see it) if faulty Challenge Yachts? Will have spare. Good luck.
Island Time 1,235
Couple of things. Does it spark and not light? If so, then lack of water flow might be switching off the gas. A sticky water flow valve will cause this. It must have sufficient flow to open the gas valve. Usually you can see a little plastic slide move when you turn on the tap (with the cover off). Push it with a small screw driver in the direction it moves, and see if it lights then. If it does, just work it back and forth a few times - mine periodically gets a bit of crap out of the water in it and lights reluctantly. That seems to free it up. The other issue I've had is dodgy gas - but not in NZ.
