Dragonforce Transmitter question.

Hi, just bought a V5 with the J4C13 TX unit. I can't work out how to insert the control toggles - they come stored in the battery compartment. They slot into the circular opening on the little control pads but don't seem to engage anything. They just flop around and will fall out. I don't want to force them and break something.

Any suggestions?

No idea sorry steadfast. But if you want to race when you get it sorted, let me (or raz88) know, its good fun.

Steadfast,

They do clip in.  If you have a look at the pins sticking out of the transmitter you should see that they're flat.

Line up the toggle levers, they have a slot  as well and push them on.

I'm assuming the transmitter you're talking about is the small flat one that comes with the boat.

Thanks. Had to dissemble the remote control unit. The spigots weren't lined up with the opening. Must have been put together on the Monday morning production run.

Done the deal and have one crossing the Tasman as I write.

Went with the V6 version.

Tips or tricks appreciated.

Make sure you wash after using them in the sea and leave hatch open to air and dry. They seem pretty good at keeping water out though. Keen for a race when you get it launched

If you get 5 boats together I will run races for DF65 at Wattle Farm on Saturdays.

It's arrived in quick smart time.

What an excellent package. Someones thought it through very well.

At NZ$310 delivered to my desk it seems way too cheap.

Now lets assemble it, where is my nail gun and spray glue  :)
