Depends on where you send it.
Ask KM for the contact details of a mate of his. Good work at a good price.
I had my headsail done many years back now, down here in Marlborough and it was no where near the cost of a new sail.

It does depend on a lot of things. Yes you will need to reduce the luff by around half a meter. This is often best done by chopping down the luff a couple of hundred 35mm behind the luff tape (which you need to cut off anyway) Then its a quick job to add webbing at the head and tack. If you want a uv that's where the cost really comes in. Uv material is expensive and it's time consuming to put on.

Also we don't recommend re-cutting larger No 1 size headsails as they're not heavy enough to take heavier air.  Often a #2 or #3 will be shorter on the luff too.

Not worth doing unless the sail is fairly new or hasn't had much use

New RF headsails are generally shorter on the foot length - usually around 130 odd% of 'J' measurement
