Neil 35
A couple of times a week I find myself driving to St Heliers along Tamaki Drive and as usual, find myself looking out to sea and wondering why I'm in the car and not out on the water. Anyway, for some time (months) I've noticed a large ketch (although both masts are the same size so probably not technically a ketch) sitting at anchor off St Helliers beach. I don't think there is a mooring out there and I'm not sure I'd want to be anchored there in one of our big NE-ers but it does seem to be there every time I pass that way. Does anyone know the story? Is someone living at anchor off the eastern beaches? No issue or axe to grind from me just genuine boat-y curiosity?
Fish 0
Is it a big capable looking alloy thing? I've seen it there before also, and off Gulf Harbour, Matakatia once. Someone around here has mentioned the name before. I have an idea it has some loose tenuous connection to Peter Blake.
kiwi_jon 26
^ If you are talking about Tara/Seamaster she is currently up in PNG waters.
El Toro 97
Its been there for years. I saw it actually sailing towards Waiheke on the first race of the Commodores Cup. Often wonder the same thing

waikiore 398
Yes she is Archangel , was Peters own boat, have also seen her move to Orakei during a big northerly, I quite like seeing boats at anchor there, when I grew up round there (violins sound) there were moorings along Kohi and St Heliers. erice 732
apparently you are only allowed to continuously anchor in spots like that for 28? so she every now and then she moves but always comes back she looks better from a distance

Harbour master informed me of this in February this year.
