Guest
A mate of mine was looking at bringing these into the country, the problem is you can't do water starts.
wheels 543
Brings up some interesting questions I have had in the back of my mind. I haven't done any research into this yet. So maybe some here have a little info. Hydrofoils are something that was kind of played around with late 60's 70's i guess. I think they where seen as the future back then. But it is not as common today as I think many then expected. So why is that. Did they turn out to be more expensive to push along than was thought??? I have had in the back of my mind, why not make a hydrofoil dinghy.
Guest
a motorised dinghy might be possible, but if one of the functional requirements of the dinghy was to get close in to the beach in the shallow water then your foils might need to be retractable or something. or you could just get a foiling kayak
wheels 543
I have found the Armstrong motors on those to be most unreliable though.
