Rogue has left Shelter Bay Marina to await their pilot over at the flats
In the next few hours they will transit the Gutan Locks then wait on a mooring in lake Gatun before travelling through the freshwater lake tomorrow, under the bridge of America, then out into the Pacific at Port Balboa

Very cool sounds like a lot of fun. What's the plan through the Pacific? Marquesas?

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

"Captain what is your maximum tropical freshwater draft?"

Not sure if you hear that asked on the VHF anywhere else.

I hope you get a pleasant pilot, it makes all the difference on the transit.

They were planning on straight to Marquesas due to cost of stopping at the Galapagos but think Josh’s parents are keen to stop so are helping out ?
It 3300nm if you stop and over 4000nm if you don’t

They are now half way through the locks by the looks
