Tracker says they are closing on Tiri channel just now.
It's not too windy, but trying to drive in this rain would be difficult - low vis, not to mention a tad unpleasant. A dry suit would look like a good investment on a day like this....

Tracker here http://yb.tl/a2n2018

That link goes to the tracking page on the event website and for some reason it's not working for me. However the URL itself actually goes to yellowbrick and is working fine: http://yb.tl/a2n2018

Have you gone away?

Whangaparaoa had 55 mm of rain between 6 am and noon -, after noon the wind had dropped off substantially, can't seem to decide which direction it is coming from, its moderately sunny and kind of warm.

I'd think that would be kind of frustrating conditions if you were trying to race north currently - I see from the tracker Notorious is doing 1.2 knts sideways off the back of Kawau just now.

She’s in the Cruising Division. Got off a couple of days ahead and went into Opua.
