1. if the rider had used the phone app to 'pause' their scooter use while they were in the shop
led light goes off and speed display goes black
the scooter would have gone dark, no lights, no display, not showing on app map, no one new can log on + after 2mtrs of pushing the dark scooter brake would come on and an alarm sound, first rider just waits until wannabe rider gets bored and staggers off swearing
2. BUT, if the scooter user simply just parked it and left the 'electronic keys in the ignition' while in the shop, led light on and speed display visible
anyone can 'steal' it by just jumping on and riding off, take it home, smash it with hammers, throw it off a bridge etc with no fear 'cause it isn't logged on to them
meanwhile the 1st rider's bank account will be drained until they can report the scooter stolen ...at which time they will be also billed for the loss.....
3. OR, the rider got off the scooter, used app to log off,
light off, display dead, scooter reappears on app map,
walks into shop but then rushes out when realises new rider is logging on
....tough luck 1st rider, you logged off and now the 2nd rider has usage rights
anyway you look at it the 1st rider doesn't seem to have RTFM
don't wait for everyone else
to save you from yourself
