But I do agree as much as no chance of trickle down, those foils wont fit through the Milford creek bridge whether down or up!

the myth of design trickle down.

It's trickle up to the AC isn't it?

Foiling was done in the 1800's, wing rigs in the 1800's, prods again 1800's, 50kts barrier done and dusted, and much more.

All the AC does is pull together previously done ideas into far better more cohesive packages. The last one they did that very well.

Come on there Puff, remember you have forsaken multiple hulls for a very attractive classic leadmine. :wtf:

Hence my distain, this thing is neither

I remember Dalts after the last cup saying he was giving the cup back to the sailors. Then I watched a video of the foil mechanism and felt if a boat can’t function without a computer keeping it sailing then it’s not about sailing

The 75 is nothing more than a really bad multi with a big solid deck on top.

Here is Peter selling the trickle down mantra.

What is ever going to trickle down out of this AC design that will influence "regular" yachting.

if the sport is about innovation etc why do they not try and fit a swing rig, unstayed like in a marblehead yacht which is 50inch hull with a 2050mm A rig.easy to set up,jib angle stays the same windward/reaching or downwind to main.
