Thank heavens for this revelation. No doubt legislation will be rushed through Parliament ,Health & Safety manuals rewritten and onion police appointed to resolve one of the  Anzac major issues. Meanwhile the wars in Syria and Yemen, North Korean Atomic testing ,global warming, Donald Trump & Brexit have been put on hold while the UN Security Council addresses this in the interests of.........??????

"Every time I go into Bunnings now I look on the floor — I look for onions.

"It is serious stuff, this onion thing," he told ABC.

Trevor was compensated by Bunnings and signed a non-disclosure agreement.

A Bunnings New Zealand spokesperson confirmed that the controversial change will also be applied in New Zealand.

Pretty sure that this won't be rushed through Parliment in NZ.  Afterall, they'll need a review by a bunch of specialist "greasy onion" consultants.  This a complex and layered problem, enough to make the eyes water at the prospect of the huge amount research needed first.  Which onion varieties are susceptable to being greas? Is it actually the onion's fault at all - could be the type of oil used in cooking.  Afterall - we already know too much oil in your cooking can be bad for you - the Onion Growers Association will want to weigh in on this - onions don't kill people  -  oil kills people!

Oh FFS here we go again, blaming the easiest target, a simple but innocent vegetable.

If they weren't dickheads they would know it's the bloody sausage. The oils, fats and other substances that oozes from those mysterious rarely meat tubes is slipperier than a Aussie multinational hardware chain.

This blantent veggie shaming I find highly offensive and tramatising so now I'm entitled to compensation for that !!!!!!!

I'm guessing that by the way he walks Ian Lees Galloway is the Minister of Veggies? That's would be great, I'll give him a 1 page summary and 15 seconds later he wil have made a well thought out informed decision.

where was the slippery onion when it was needed here?

this lawyer probably would have loved to have slipped and knocked herself out

instead of launching into a drunken tirade that will probably end her career and social media accounts

this will get her respect?

Don't blame the bloody sausage - it'll be precooked!  Besides - the plant based meat advocacy groups will be all over that arguement if this gets out.

Actually perhaps we should start up a meat based plant advocacy group - ban the onion tasting onion - bring on the bloody sausage tasting onion!
