NZ is available at 0.1 degree resolution and Auckland at 0.03, updated 4x daily. We've ben using these in NZ, Australia etc for a while and they seem to compare surprisingly favourably with anything else. http://www.expeditionmarine.com/egrib.htm No restrictions on use, but no warranty either as it is a free service.
