Sailing shoes

I have a pair of Zhik neoprene boots that I wear on the 3.7. They are fluffy on the inside, so really comfortable and I rinse them with fresh water after use and they have never stunk.

Problem is they will have done 1 year come christmas and they aren't looking too good any more. Wont survive past that. Not good as they are more expensive than similar boots.

Had the Ronstan dinghy boots - but I always wear them with socks and apply Gran's Foot remedy for the pong, works well 'cept I've gone through the sole so looking for some new ones- and of course they've changed the sizing so they don't fit any more. Don't you love the 'new improved' version when the old ones were just fine? I like the tops that fit higher than your ankle when yer up the front - helps with the lifeline scrapes you get round the ankle but it's not a decent day if you don't come back covered in blood

Uvverwise it's the HH deck shoes which me n Mummyboat bought at the same time so scored a good deal. They're ok but very low at the heel so rather easy to walk out of if you're up the front and pulling your foot out of a headsail that's just dropped...

Do look nisthe when sthwanning around the garden bar tho

Did nearly get chucked out of some sleazy dive up Ponsnobby Rd one night - reckoned I was a bit 'loud' in the footwear department

Harken deck shoes, awesome grip but it pays to rinse the salt water out each time.

Gill boots when it's chilly. I just bought new ones after the last pair got leprosy and shed the outer layer.

Have gone the croc way in the past, the lace up "sailing" version. good but wore out the soles.

Was barefoot for many years,

Then a set of dorlon boots, took a few years to wear out.

Have been using a set of apollo dive booties for a little while, feet get wet but stay warm, no issues with smell - have always rinsed them out with fresh water after using.
