Hello all,

SWMBO and I are heading for the UK in a few weeks time to spend 5 months on the waterways of England (and possibly a little bit of Wales) in a 58' long, 6' 10" wide narrowboat that we bought in an intense few weeks last year.

I know other Kiwis do this - we made contact with a brace of couples last year - but would be interested in making contact with others in the UK this northern summer.

Also happy to share what we learnt about buying a narrowboat with other Kiwis considering it.

Hey Bill, Keep us informed -please. I first saw these a couple of years ago and thought they were fascinating.

Two figures sat side by side, staring at the Sea. One said to the other, “You know that one day we will die.” And the other friend replied, “But all of the other days WE WILL LIVE!”
