Whananaki has a small store by camp ground near school. Only been by road so not sure about access into harbour. You could park off ocean beach and cross harbour on foot bridge which lands near the school.

Mmmmmmmmmm. Ice cream. We discovered over Xmas our freezer can hold ice cream. Now isn't that a nice surprise?

Two figures sat side by side, staring at the Sea. One said to the other, “You know that one day we will die.” And the other friend replied, “But all of the other days WE WILL LIVE!”

There are two great things in this World. Sailing and Icecream. If you are fortunate to be able to combine them, Heaven could be so good.

There used to be a shop at rawhiti in boi over summer only. Used to have basic fruit and veggies etc, plus ice cream. Not sure if it still operates. Was also easily accessible from Oke.

Crickey that place hasn't changed in 30 years when we use that the kids up there camping. One year we got stuck at the camp as the roads out were blocked by landslips........talk about rain Trev........the hot pool was the only thing that kept us sane. Digging trenches around the tent....tent leaking.

Those were the days.
