ONE Yacht has already withdrawn and a further two are set to withdraw also. The Super yachts can and will soon cancel. The NEWS ITEM WAS AN SALVAGE ATTEMPT OBVIOUSLY.so do not get to excited.

I would love to see the 500 jobs detailed as no one down here has heard of them and busineses that serviced these craft in the past are pulling out of Westhaven because of rent increases

The headline is way over the top but having worked on one and and knowing someone who owns a smaller one it is staggering what they spend in a day to day basis when they are in port and it goes well beyond the marine industry but far from saving the economy .

I think it is more to do with the 'under-utilised' land, and the 136 apartments, than anything to do with sailing...
