Found this Latest on why Syds are withdrawing ,

'All the “news” coming out of the America's Cup camp lately is old news, rehashed. But one item worth repeating is the claim by Luna Rossa that the new AC75s are too hard to sail and too extreme to build.'

It's just marketing Rehab.

The AC is 98% off the water weird, wonderful, stupid, greedy, legal, boring, WTF?? and a raft of other adjectives spread over many years, only 2% is on the water and could be done and dusted in only 4 days.

So here needs to be spooky stories to try and keep it a bit relevant during all the downtime.
