Panmure Centennial Year 2012

To include ¼ & ½ ton regatta

 

 

As part of the Panmure Yacht & Boating Club’s centennial events in March 2012 there will be a series of races like this year’s ¼ ton reunion for classic Quarter and Half Ton yacht that conformed to the IOR rating of the 1980’s This includes designs by Bruce Farr # 51 the 920 by Alfa marine Major Tom, Hallelujah, Gitchy Gomey, Two Che. Etc and Paul Whiting News paper Taxi design, Howzat, Farcical, along with any other types of ½ ton yachts that can trace their lines to a classic 1970-80’s ½ tonner any owner interested in the ¼ or ½ ton series please contact, Panmure Y&BC at info@pybc.org.nz or john @sparloft.co.nz

I see that Blackfun has arrived in the UK

 

Panmure is still compiling a list of 1/2 & 1/4 ton owners who may be interested in the classic IOR series next March 10-11th 2012. Olympic course series off Browns Island, under the great Rangitoto

Paul Whiting, Murray Ross and crew recieving the South Pacific Half Ton Trophy sailing under the PYBC flag

We have the trophy on loan from Jack Potter the Trustee of the trophy for next years 1/2 ton Classic div March 10 & 11th 2012

No rating required just be in rating trim of 1980's this is a reunion series along with the 1/4 tonners

This event will again use the 2 handed 3 legged series on March 16-18th combined with the Olmpic courses on March 10 & 11th for overall points

 

The 2 handed 3 legged weekend and Beach party is now sponsored by Lidgard Sails Ltd
