johnMi 2
Last year a number of us weighed our boats. I know how much my boat weighed all up, but how much did the strops etc weigh? i.e nett weight as opposed to gross weight.
Guest
A lot less once you bailed out that one arma From very rough memory in the 1200kg area but you did seem to have a lot of gear abaord at the time.

Guest
Wouldnt the rigger zero off the loadcell once the strops are fitted? Generally the way things are done.
johnMi 2
could be boatslut, but not sure
Guest
Wouldnt the rigger zero off the loadcell once the strops are fitted? Generally the way things are done. As I recall that is what happened.
rigger 47
I do remember the unit getting re-zeroed between each boat whilst strops were hanging.
Guest
Yes I zeroed the cell each time so the weights were all nett boat only ones. 1140kg was highly likely John. It was around that number for sure. Maybe Rigger can track it back, he's way better than I at finding that older stuff. Didn't we have a thread running about the weighing session? Marshy 30
Yip load cell was zero'd with whatever strops we required to lift it each time before the lift. So the number on the scales is the number the boat weighs.
