Guest
I think it is smart to see which set up works. if theyrace a full AC course and the non foiler wins then what will you guys say? Please past the peanut butter? No idea JP, it all depends on what do you think we have said so far. From your many replies it's pretty obvious that it's knot what we think we have said. Luna Rosa on foils ( DOWNDATE: Would you believe it actually foiled on their first day on sailing! Other teams foiled on their fourth day oooooon sailing) . She's sailing on one "L" foil and on two rudder "t" foils. No foil in windward daggerboard trunk when she was sailing. Testing which is faster -- foils or non foil sailing. She is getting some speed up - down now and heading for ETNZ Pass The Cheese Board and liquers. That photo was photoshop. They didn't foil on there first Day

Guest
They lost controll of their wing and it flew up in the air. Pretty serious as someone went to hospital Think they need to be more careful in the future

Adrianp 116
Prada wing is back up today and it looks like they have just dropped her into the water, so guess they are going yachting today! Team NZ Wing is up too. Might be the day they finally line up!
Guest
Looks like it... ETNZ is sailing up the harbour now and LR has the wing up on the dock... [edit] ...LR now edging out of Westhaven ... and flying a hull down the harbour.
Guest
Both are out now. TNZ right up off the bays getting into it (towed up there) Prada sliding up the bays towards TNZ flying a hull and looking mighty fine with the sun sparkling off the paintwork. As expected the Italians boat is easy the best looker and by quite a margin. As me, the Optis and all the mummies didn't want to embarrass any we came ashore
