I went and got the workshop manual for the Bukh we have in the 88 from here - it had a good list of the basic tools which is something I have been after for a while. Still makes me laugh - slightly hysterically - that the flywheel on the Bukh alone accounts for a quarter of the class minimum engine weight (which allows batteries, fridge compressor and saildrive or prop shaft, strut and the prop itself to be included in the calculation). Murky 1 Posted June 6, 2010 Share Posted June 6, 2010 Hadn't heard about the interior re-modelling but an engineer who looked at it commented that the majority Bukh-powered boats had a cracked floorboard just forward of the engine where the flywheel had dropped while being removed. Certainly ours bears that badge of honour. Gotta say though, it has never missed a beat and isn't thirsty either. Link to post Share on other sites
