how many of you have the 1000???

I haven't read the exact wording but if it's along the lines of 'Have you and your boat shared more than 1000nm of sailing delight together' then I can say, Oh yes that many times over.

No it says your yacht has to have one trip of 1000 miles in one go

Adventure means risking something, and it is only when we are doing that, that we know what a splendid thing life is and how well it can be lived.

No idea and mine says it was rude of me to ask but seeing I did, No she hasn't done 1000nm in one go.... that she can remember.
But then with her history of drug and alcohol abuse that's no surprise.

Hi everyone,

I have just had a chat with Richard the race Secretary about qualifiers ect turns out I was reading the whole thing wrong and the 1000 miles they talk about doesn't have to be recorded just the 500 which is going to save me a lot of time off work!!!

Going to be a very good race by the sound of it!!

Good to see another yacht the closer to Ant size enter!!!!

Been busy with work, but was also going to post I'd spoken to race organisers, and they were perfectly happy with a planned 500nm Passage from Nelson up the west coast & back.

But now with no rig on the boat it will be a slow trip!!

A bit more than 1/2 the fleet had at least AIS receivers last time. I've got the lowest price if you want one NZMoth :D

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, half so much worth doing, as simply messing about in boats
