  3. McMoggy and GBE Akarana Express in the Tauranga Race, Fully Charged (ex Energizer) and X Factor buried among the leaner fleet to leeward.
  4. While we are on trimarans heres Creepy Crawler
  5. And while we are on the topic of trimarans, the mighty Timberwolf approaching us rapidly from astern, shame about the rapala lure that was sacrificed in the making if this picture....
  6. Mysterex, a couple of weeks ago, probably in its way to give the bottom a scrub
  7. This is a standard GBE, albeit with a masthead gennaker. Us on Dire Straits during Auckland Anniversary regatta. Dire Straits is now in Brittany.
  8. Shamelessly borrowed from http://www.tennantdesign.co.nz/index.php?page=red-shift This particular one was built by Johnny T
  9. Energizer is definitely a Tennant design, most likely a Redshift 10m, see below. Exodus is a Ron Given design 10m How about posting a few pics of your boat sailing.
  10. Exodus, taken from onboard Sundreamer during a Coastal Classic, somewhere off the northland coast.
  11. Here you go Ken, this is the very first Voom sail as taken from Hard Drive ...and getting ready to put this hull onto the trailer to take it to Hobsonville Air Force Yacht Club where we put it all together
  12. Formula 40, I've got heaps of this one!!
  13. Have you got entry details and finish times etc from all of the multihulls in all of the Coastals - that would be cool to see.
  14. Here's a couple specially for TC
  15. and then there is of course Stenlager 1
  16. Stealing an idea from another site I thought it would be cool to have somewhere for everyone post some pics of the NZMYC multihull history. I thought Split Enz was an appropriate first candidate, excuse the quality its been pinned to the office wall for a bit too long. Ive got plenty more, what else is out there??
  17. There is another cable running across the river another 3/4 of a mile or so up stream of the one on your pic Freeeeeeeeeeeeeedom, Ken is still trying to see who is responsible for it. Sadly it looks like Vb won't fit so will have to hook a ride with someone else.
  18. was that something you weren't supposed to share?
  19. Id be up for that, a cruise up to home waters. Need to check out the power line clearance on the lines from around the Huapai Golf club area to the other side, maybe Clipper can give us this info, he's in that business.
  20. "After you have learnt the procedure with the first half hull, each half takes a couple of days. Of this time, only 40 minutes per infusion involves resin, and after the resin is mixed, you don't come in contact with it again until it is cured. Assembling the halves, including installing the bulkheads is another day's work. A light sand and they are ready to paint. The weight, cost and time savings are appreciable." Nice beam, wouldn't mind a flash new front beam like that for the VB. Admire the work Rob, but having heard the kind of statement above a lot of times and seen a lot of boats
