ScottiE 174
yup - and I think he's willing to negotiate on that to see her go to a good home. I wonder if we could get the NZ public to "give a little" to bring back a piece of NZ history - much cheaper than a crappy SI beach that may or may not be there next year! erice 732
not going to get into a 40' container so deck cargo on a boat carrier? covers a lot of real estate US$20,000 - NZ$50,000 shipping?
Black Panther 1,581
It will break in to two bits, slightly less RE
Vorpal Blade 89
Ive done this exercsize both locally and internationally, when the boat is broken down and stowed in narrow mode with hulls side by side and beams, mast etc stored on top it will be top loaded and charged for the same rate as the number of containers it covers. If done right and the mast cut and sleeved to get its length down and if you talk nicely to the shipping Co. its charge will be as little as a 40ft + 20ft container, possibly only a 40ft if you do it right. ex TL systems 63
whoa that makes multis for sale here look pretty average and expensive.
Vorpal Blade 89
I suspect the price is more reflective of his desire to get rid of it quickly so he can get the cruising cat he wants, that and the possible lack of potential buyers on the West coast of the US. MartinRF 53
He already got the cruising cat, sailed it home from South Africa. /Martin
