The Clipper, I'm busy reading up on the details of the construction methods. That Skylark 4' sure does look like a good sized boat for the kids to learn to row in.

I've ordered the plans for the Skylark 4', and a book on building in the stitch and glue method. Now my only challenge is getting the shed tidy enough for a small and simple project.

Just about finished the little praam. Only need to sand, paint and varnish, build spars, and a rudder and a centreboard.

And saw it in half.

That job is scheduled for tomorrow once the epoxy base coat has hardened up a little. Any words of comfort before I take to it with a saw appreciated.dinghy.jpgdinghy1.jpg

How many man-hours was that?

I'm on the verge of making a 4' Skylark for my 3 year old daughter, unfortunately I'm still in the process of tidying my shed enough to lay down a single sheet of plywood

Fish, aftwr not touching mine since December, this week has seen some progress on the 4' skylark. Glued the seams, removed ties, no glass yet. Gled seat on last night, but cold weather has slowed the epoxy a bit.
