erice 732
Earlier this year, technicians operating a robotic camera surveying a route for a natural gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea, were surprised to find a 500-year-old shipwreck virtually intact on the seafloor. The ship was found at a depth of 141 meters. http://www.oldsaltblog.com/2019/07/intact-500-year-old-shipwreck-found-on-baltic-seafloor/
MartinRF 53
Yes, the Baltic Sea is known for not destroying old wrecks. The same goes for the Black Sea I understand which means there is a real possibility of finding ancient Greek mercant ships, Bysantine vessels... If you ever visit Stockholm this museum is a mandatory thing on yout to-do list: https://www.vasamuseet.se/en /Martin
