Qualified crew available in Auckland for rum racing or long passages

Hi there!

I am a 24yo fit, healthy and enthusiastic female Kiwi sailor looking to join as crew on boats in the Auckland region needing an extra hand for rum racing or on some longer passages.

I returned from overseas travels to stay with family in Auckland prior to lockdown, and would love the opportunity to get out on the water again and help out in anyway.

I have sailed dinghies for 8 years, and coached dinghy sailing for 3 years at RAYC. Last year I worked as a sailing hostess/guide for 8 months in Greece where I helped guests aboard 10-12 yachts, which including joining them on their boats, assisting them with boat handling and teaching them how to sail when needed.

I am a little rusty with racing but am eager to get out on the water again, meet new people and improve my skills and knowledge! I have my Dayskippers qualification, STCW and ENG1 and am looking for more experience and miles that I may put towards earning my yacht masters qualification.
