Reg 0
its going to be a tricky leg ... once again. No really good wind patterns to hook into. 2 decisions to be made - At the start - How far sth do you go before you hook into good winds, & then start the swing north - How far east do you go to try & miss the light stuff, before you swing back west near the end of the leg There are allot more long term decisions (7+ days) to be made vs, short term. Whoever does the best job of that will do very well. Good luck guys

PaulR 3
Put in DELAYED COMMANDS. You can do this "days in advance" of the start. Either for a CC (Compass Course) or TWA (True Wind Angle) TICK the Delayed command box ENTER a number = delay this command for 37 hours CLICK on SEND COMMAND THEN CHECK by looking on the CLOCK tab and PRESSING the TWIN GREEN REFRESH arrows. See what time the delayed command(s) is/are set for. If you want to change, do another command at 38 or 36 hours etc, send that command and then REFRESH again Then HIGHLIGHT the command you do NOT want and press the RED button to STOP than command which then disappears off the list. Make your first delayed command sometime during the hour before the start time and then at the start you will atleast be on your way. I set my command for the start 2 days ago. Hopefully when I wake up, get the first cup of coffee in hand and switch on the PC, I will be somewhere heading towards Cape Agulas. At least my boat will knot be tied up at the dock. Another good tip is to set another DC command but for 1 minute after the start as a backup. That way you will still only be 60 seconds behind the fleet, knot 4+ hours. OR Send me RUM ASAP!!
