johnMi 2
Well Dan, If you were the dick that is loose with his lips, and handy with his hands, you got what you deserved.
Guest
John. Whilst technically you may be correct re port/starboard right of way, surely etiquette and - if I may be so bold, common sense prevail. To quote Wikipedia: "It is the custom amongst sailors that a sailing boat cruising will not normally get in the way of a racing fleet." Given your recent mast and gear purchases it appears you take the performance of your boat, and (it follows) your racing seriously. Me old mate Dan loves his racing and sails to win - which makes him a poster boy for Auckland Harbour racing. With respect, if he blocked your gun start in his 40 footer...would you happily hang around whilst he buggered about? Cos I'd be pissed. Just a thought.
Guest
John, if you want people to stop yelling and gesticulating at you, stop sailing like a dick. Its simple.
