9 boats entered and are off to nelson. Jive Talkin got the best start and The GT is currently tacking their way past Worser Bay. I will try and update progress as we get updates.

revs got something caught on their rudder or prop and couldnt get it clear. had to go into sheltered water and send a diver down.

had a good ride through the strait hitting low 20s in nedax butbthen the breeze died and we spent all night vmg running in 10kts. had up to 4 kts tide agaist us at stephens island. now running down durville island with 5 kts breeze. clear vision and nou I mig (class 950) just behind, jive talking a few miles to leward and the guarantee about 5 nm astern. pleasant but slow. still 30 nm to finish at 7am.
