Guest
I trucked a Ross 930 from Mana to Tauranga on a backload a year ago for $3000 inc insurance and GST Exclusive Boat Haulage, can't praise them enough
waikiore 397
Plus one for exclusive, he is doing most of the long haul North Island work ending up at Westhaven.
Handsome Pete 0
Hi John, We (Boat Haulage Ltd ) would do that for $2700 + GST.(Backload) Good to hear good reports about others, but we still do ten times the movements and have the specialised gear to suit every boat. Give us a try - or at least a chance to quote. 09 4838 111 Cheers Pete
dkd 3
For what it is worth, Boat Haulage were the guys who packed up my boat (SR26) and shipped to Melbourne (onto Adelaide) for me . Their work excellent and happy to give recommendation
drbob 0
+2 for Boat Haulage They've shifted two boats for me, both Auckland to Welly. First one about 7 years ago, second one late last year. Good blokes. Great service. No issues.
splashprincess 16
It also depends on whether cost or timing is your main concern. If you can get a backload it does reduce the cost, but you may be waiting awhile for that to happen. We used Marine Haulage and Bruce was excellent.
Kiteroa 8
I've always used boat haulage for my boats. They have proven themselves to be very good. At Southern Spars we tend to view them as the low risk, safe bet . You wouldn't believe some of the spots they can get a truck into. $2700+gst sounds like a pretty good rate. Here's their most recent efforts with my boat:
Black Panther 1,568
I have used them too - about the second half of last century
Guest
Boat haulage also have a great reputation and I was on their backload list as well. My endorsement of Exclusive was more due to the luck that I called them as they were on the spot and were prepared to throw boat on the truck in the spot without knowing me from a bar of soap. And turned up safe the next day
broadoak 0
We used Exclusive Boat Haulage to bring our Lotus 1280 with a draft of 2.4 metres down from Gulf Harbour to Mana recently. They were absolutely amazing, took great care despite the draft being reasonable. It cost $3600 including Pilot Vehicle, insurance GST the works. Their equipment is very new and in pristine condition. JJ and Shelley were very accommodating and easy to work with. I can't speak highly enough of them, so we are spollt for choice having 2 fantastic firms available to us.
