Last year "The Lonely Islands" released a song called "Im On A Boat" hence the nickname of our project...
Main hull is complete, faired and primed, and rolled over ready to sand and glass inside. It looks a bit funny because we have to chop the freeboard down to just above the blue primer on the outside.

I'm so dumb - took me ages to work out the first photo. Is it stripprd to a certain height then ply (one side being fitted)?

here is the you tube link to the 'im on a boat' music video, I reckon its fu*ken funny.
I arrived late (as usual...) and missed the flipping over of the hull but made it in time for the beer and chips..... its looking good and a surprising amount of volume.

strip planked foam up to the 100mm step then ply from there upwards.
Both sides are fitted, glassed faired and primed on the outside. If you look at the bow and stern you can see the ply topsides on the side closer to the camera.

I'm guessing the 2 boats aren't the same design. Anyone want to give a quick difference breakdown to a single hull driver but very interested observer?
Quite impressed with what looks to be a large amount of inside space in Samin's new beasty. That step/chine dodacky makes one hell of a difference.
