Just bought a boat for pottering around the gulf in my old age. It has a brand new ENO Grand Large 2 Gascogne stove in it. It has never been used, and is not hooked up to the gas supply. It's much too overkill for me, with oven, grill etc as well as burners.

Before I put it on Trademe, I thought I'd offer it here in case anyone would like a nice new stove.

The new price on the net and Burnsco seems to be around $2500. I'm open to reasonable offers, 0211 1530747.

John Welsford design sailing dinghy

Wanted to buy - John Welsford sailing dinghy. I built several of John's boats, including a Rogue and a Navigator - testing out the yawl rig.

Now I've sold my keeler - with marina fees it became too expensive to justify, and I'm getting on a bit, but I ain't ready to give up sailing JUST yet!.

I'm not allowed to build another one, I don't have the room, but if anyone has a completed or partially completed 12-14ft Welsford or similar for sale, please let me know.

Waterfront property with boat berth

My brother is selling this property which has been in our family for around 60 years. It has a very solid nice house and workshop and a very unique boat berth capable of taking a vessel of up to about 14m with 2.5m draft. It is totally protected from any weather event and has power and town water available. It is very close to the beautiful unspoiled Kaipara Harbour which has many sheltered anchorages and some of the best fishing around. I have commercially fished there for over 20 years and-in more recent times have sailed there from Auckland in a 12.6m keel boat during a NZ circumnavigation. I am surprised this property has not already sold as it definitely under priced but I think the council records showing it on a floodplain may be having an effect. In actual fact it will never flood because every 12 hours the river being tidal means any rain water quickly drains away. Also there are no large hills around so the catchment is small and land subsidence in the area is nil. Therefore siltation is not a problem. If you would like further information get in touch.

I'm in the market for a Shoalcraft 30. I've sailed and had an inspection of the 'mothership' Moonfire. It's in a sad state, but possibly not a goner. I do NOT want one on which the cabin top has been extended forward. The original design is splendid, but... errr... not the above-mentioned. anything considered.

A couple of tears but in other wise good condition for its age.

Missing panels aren't important. Kite seems to work fine without them at 30+ knots. But if you do want them too they are available for collection just north of Cape Jackson.

We are never going off shore and so this pretty much brand new but older sail is just dead weight on board.

Foot is 2.75m eye to eye, luff is 4.45m eye to eye. Cloth feels like a medium weight synthetic canvas. Slugs are 16mm wide.

Feels like it's worth $100, let's see.
