That" foes" blocker is brilliant, no more reading dribble. Thanks for mentioning it.

Back on topic, I agree there seems to be some great coastal races coming up, the Central Triangle looks brilliant.

now that so many of us have filled the "learned new stuff" quota for the week I think we all deserve tomorrow off to go rum racing. Rawhide will be there for the bucks major (even have spare spots if anyone wants a ride)

p.s rawhide is one of those great kiwi designed 1020's just to thread drift even further.

Since more than one of us at least initially asked how do you do it...

...at the top right of screen click on "User Control Panel"

...at the bottom of the left hand menu there is an item "Friends & Foes"

...from there click on "Manage Foes"

Click on the [Find a member] link... find the person you want to filter, check the "Mark" check box and click on "Select Marked" at the bottom of the panel.

Viola! Done.

Well I am happy that I learnt something new today, how to add a user to the Foes list so I don't have to read through their dribble!!

This event looks like a whole bunch of fun, and I would love to do it on my boat just to prove I can, maybe after a coastal and the other longer races from AK it will be the next step.

Interesting word that Maybe this August 2014.

Really? How? I am teetering ont he brink of not wanting to keep contributing to organising the event. OC's posts just sap my will to be involved.

Peggs will inspire you and give you strength.

A lot will be reading this thread and probably thinking do I really want to socialise with these so called intended starters and organisers because when having a drink with them at the social functions at the clubs between legs, I make a verbal comment which is contra to there held thoughts I could be physically abused as well as verbally abused and made to feel unwelcome.

Central triangle!! Yep, got that covered

Oh dear

Regret to say, though I was interested in entering the race, I have other developments which I need to allocate funds to, so won't make this start line on the 'ship.

But I sure will try to get a ride with someone else.

If a troll makes a post in a forum where everyone has blocked him, is he still wrong?

Disagree.

Have not seen a troll posting yet.

The new Notice on the race has not appeared yet.

OC just relax a little, it's not a big conspiracy just some volunteers trying organise a race that people will want to do whilst not being reckless about it.

I do agree the Survival course is expensive especially if you live outside of the main centres, with travel and accommodation it's easy to cost over a thousand dollars, that's if you can actually find someone running one. I guess it's all we have at the moment.

Would agree Willow. Whoever organises an event makes the rules. If they don't suit don't enter. It isn't compulsory to do so. If real risk you want buy an old shitter and sail it where you like. Just remember to not take an EPRIB , radio, liferaft or phone. They will only spoil the challenge and minimise the risk..
