smithy09 50
Shame there are no trackers. This one would be great to watch!!
grant 40
8 nm south of the entrance, speed around 15-16 knots, blink ahead by about 300m, boats seem to be about 600 metres apart still a bit breezy here
B00B00 306
Absolutely epic fee hours.... winds sustained over 50kt times. Boat speed 18-26kts. In sight of blink the whole race so far, never more than a few nm apart. Now side by side in light airs just south of kaikoura.
smithy09 50
Awesome Booboo. See you are in front now. Nice job!! Keep the reports coming mate!!

B00B00 306
https://m.facebook.com/josh.tucker.5667?fref=nf Some good videos online there that I uploaded to facebook. Missed out on the race record but took the gun. Fast start but very slow for the last 3/4 of the race with variable 5kts from dark to about 1 hr from the finish. Very slow and painful night of sailing. About 1 million sail changes.
RedLine 0
Tail Enders seem to be getting a pasting now. Gucci is a long way further offshore? Looked like an awesome ride for those that made it in b4 the Sw'ly change!!
smithy09 50
Shame it dropped off. Crusader would have smashed the record otherwise.. Looks like the Elliots are winning the race of the canters. Ominous for Blink!
smithy09 50
Where you getting that info from? All I can find is a list of who has finished and who hasn't. Booboo's facebook posts, Central triangle facebook posts and Royal Port Nich.. They could do better with the coverage though, and trackers are conspicuous by their absence.. Don't tell me they are going to get a ripping Southerly up to Napier now?? That would be too much.. Lucky buggers.
