Acryllic Window Adhesives - SabreBond SMP60

Recommended Posts

Was going to use Sikaflex 295 but the window supplier has also suggested SabreBond Structural SMP60 which they now use.

Still sand and prime acryllic surface so preparation is no different.

Did the SMP60 stand up to UV etc? I need to seal glass windows to a wood frame (marine) and again, this is recommended by a window supplier.

(I would Everdure the wood first.)

I Just did that exact job, toughened glass on epoxied frames. I used Quilosa MS35 from the glue guru. https://www.glueguru.co.nz/shop/INDUSTRY/MARINE/QUILOSA+MS35+Adhesive+280ml+Cartridges.html

I've used this on quite a few boats, but mostly on acrylic windows. great results and cheaper than Sika
