Kick Ass 47
Hi all We are after a mainsail for a 45ft cat, preferably a square top but will consider anything that is available as currently what we have would probably implode with a 10knot gust :-/. Boat has a rotating wing mast and measurements are 14.4m max hoist and 5.4m foot. Thanks in advance
Fish 0
I swear I only saw one hull out today on Miester. And it was closer to 29 ft...
Kick Ass 47
Haha, there is a mother ship lurking around. Mum n Dad are currently refitting a 45ft cat
ex TL systems 63
I may have a heavy main off a Fusion 40 cat that would be close to those measurements, don,t think it has had a lot of use, Dave
erice 732
And there is the heavy elliptical square top, with plenty of life left from45' bad kitty back in my shed loft in Pukekohe. Needs battens
Kick Ass 47
Thanks guys, is there a possability of finding out the measurements?
Vorpal Blade 89
I will pull the sail plan out in the morning and report back with a PM. The sail Eric refers to is elliptical and not a square top though. It also needs battens
Kick Ass 47
Thanks Vorpal, will be interesting to see the leasurements as it would be good to find something that doesn't need much modification. I dont think battens should be a problem
erice 732
lot of power in a sail like that the solid carbon? battens went elsewhere as they were more valuable than the sail! would be 2 bottles of rhum 1 for Willy 1 for the warehouseman who would of course divert a tot to vorpal
B00B00 310
Here are the sizes for Bad Kittys main. Luff 15.150 Leech 15.550 Foot 5.500 So the top could be made into a square head with the 750mm luff reductions. The luff curve is probably the biggest change that might be needed. Brendan your old mans mainsail sizes are exactly the same as Higher Ground so I will see where his old squarehead mainsail is.
