Solo IQ - What happened?

Recommended Posts

Thought I would do the solo series this year after seeing all the guys out last year.

Looked really wall organised, website, distinctive shirts, BBQs etc ...

Now I can't even seem to find what is happening for the race this Sunday.

Am I looking in the wrong place? Have I been left off a mailing list?

Anyone got any info?

Thanks, I did find that...
I forgot that the solo series is just a tack on to other races.
I was expecting something like last year: www.soloiq.org.nz/
Just found the NOR for the Harbour Race on Sunday.

Clive,

Same NOR format as previous 4 years - but I hear that we need a better web guide.

Vinings Marine is the sponsor this year and we are working on the new site... in the meantime I'll put all relevant info on the RYC website:

Hope to see you and Voom out this Sunday.

And, yes, there will be road closures on Sunday due to marathon, but open again for the race, so prepare:

'Westhaven Drive is closed for the Auckland Marathon from 6.30am-10.40am on Sunday 30 October. Get full details of the closure at http://a.smartmailpro.com/link/oaf756tj7/f5dp2hff1p. '

Cheers,

Bryon

Richard Limbrick / Cool Change is looking after the series this year - he's got great new shirts, stickers and a host of events planned for the 2016-17 Vinings Marine / RYC Singlehanded Series. Contact RYC for more details - we'd love to have more multis out.
