Ed 143
They should have jack stays and harnesses or linelines surely!
khayyam 68
maybe. but that would slow them down a lot moving around the boat, which is (i'm sure) why they don't.
MasterOfDisaster 0
Cripes, can you imagine someone getting diced during any stage of the cup? Anyone in the water being hit by the foils of another boat? I imagine the organising authority must have their PR plan in place already.
SloopJohnB 322
Due to Safety concerns All Foils will be removed from boats when moving. Bring back the monos.

ScottiE 174
If youi want to truely protect the sailors from this safety concern you should remove all sailors from boats when moving!
dutyfree 170
ETNZ have removed sailors, they have cyclists instead
Island Time 1,235
May as well Scottie, only two of them seem to actually be sailing now anyway!????
Hurts 6
Get teams to fill in the gaps up front with loose-ish nets - make them all do it and no one is advantaged windage wise but far less likely to go in over the front beam - otherwise someone will get cut badly at some stage.
