Rats 28
I am in the market for a new furler, boat 12m sloop rigged, It does not have one. Harken, Profurl or Furlex or others? I have experience with Harken and Profurl having assembled and installed them many moons ago but am sure a lot has changed since I was last involved. Any informed opinions? John B 106
I have and like reef rite. Very well engineered, and if you do the kiwislide and downloader option it's a lot easier to change sails. Basically like hanking them on.

chariot 242
I have reefrite with kiwi slides. Realy like the system with the hanks rathern than bolt rope. Easier to adjust luff tension.
PeteG 13
We have a harken on the front and a furlex for the staysail. Both well built and work well. Easy to work on and nz agents handy if any spares needed. Would recommend either. Our boat is 11 metres.
jonathan 4
Have a Harken that needs a new bearing, but it must be 30 years old, I rate it. Not cheap but quality normally is expensive. On a 12ton 45ft boatr
